What are Porcelain Veneers?
A porcelain veneer (often called a laminate) is a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded directly to the front of a tooth. Each porcelain veneer is a work of art, carefully crafted in a dental laboratory to enhance your individual smile.
The benefits of Porcelain Veneers
In the hands of Dr. Andow, porcelain veneers can provide you with a natural, beautiful smile. They are durable, stain resistant, virtually undetectable and can dramatically improve your appearance. Veneers only require minimal tooth preparation and are therefore a more conservative treatment compared to crowns.

Are there other treatment options?
Composite bonding can be a good alternative to porcelain veneers. Composite bonding, however, is not as strong and durable as porcelain veneers. If there is extensive wear or damage to the tooth, the only alternative may be a porcelain crown.
