HYGIENISTS

Kellen Churchill, RDH

Greetings! I was born and raised in Rome, GA where I currently live with my wife, Heather, and my daughter, Kaylyn. I enjoy spending time with family and working with my hands when I’m not with them; either drawing, painting, or doing a number of other hands-on projects. I graduated Georgia Highlands College with my Associate's of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2014, where I was a part of the first class in eight years to graduate with a full hygiene class.

I was nominated to the Georgia Highlands College Dental Hygiene Advisory Board and have served on it since 2016 where I advise students and offer insight about anything from newer technology to new procedures and techniques to the Director of Dental Hygiene and surrounding dentists in the community. I am also involved with the state accreditation of the program.

What I’m passionate about most with this field is I enjoy the feeling that I’m helping people with their smile, health, and overall well-being. I feel like I’m part of a great team here and feel very blessed to assist you with your dental needs!

Sam Fort, Practice Administrator

I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Minnesota. What was once a great place to live, at this stage of life is now only a great place to visit. I graduated from Coon Rapids Sr. High in June 1975.

After graduation, I joined the U.S. Navy in 1975 and attended boot camp in San Diego, CA in January 1976. From there I was sent to Meridian Mississippi for Storekeeper School. Upon graduation from SK school, I was send to the “REAL” Navy in Keflavik, Iceland. After a bitter cold one year’s time, I was sent to Charleston, SC where I served aboard the U.S.S. Orion, a submarine tender. After learning that my wife was pregnant with our first child and being told that she couldn’t go overseas with me, I ended my time with the Navy and was honorably discharged in December 1979.

I am the father of 4 children and I have 9 grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy Braves baseball, both Atlanta and Rome, and golf. I started with Allatoona Family Dental in July of 2007 as the front desk receptionist. I am now the practice administrator. I love working in the dental field. The people I work with are the best in the business and a pleasure to work with. This is a great team of professionals who take their jobs seriously and love what they do. In my 10+ years here, Allatoona Family Dental has grown into a full service practice that offices their patients a full line of dental procedures. I hope you choose to join our FAMILY. I know you won’t regret it.
