Roger F. Basha, DDS, MBA
Cosmetic, Restorative & Implant Dentist
Dr. Basha has been addressing the dental needs of patients in the Charleston area for over 20 years.
He came to Charleston in 1996 to complete a dental residency program at the VA Medical Center in Charleston. After spending a short time here, he and his wife Kathryn decided to make Charleston their permanent home. They live on the Isle of Palms and have 2 sons Thomas and Ian.
In 2004 Dr. Basha opened a state-of-the-art dental practice on Daniel Island in a convenient "downtown" location across from the fire station. Daniel Island was chosen because the location is very convenient and easily accessible from most places in the Charleston metropolitan area via the Mark Clark Expressway (I-526).
Before coming to Charleston, Dr. Basha earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland in 1996. Dentistry is actually a "second career" for Dr. Basha. Prior to returning to dental school, Dr. Basha spent several years in the business world after earning his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University.
Dr. Basha has always made it a priority to receive advanced training in many different areas of dentistry. With this advanced training he able to offer patients a full range of dental services including: complex restorative treatment including full mouth reconstruction; advanced cosmetic services; Implant Dentistry (including surgical placement and complete restorative procedures); Invisalign Orthodontics; and in-office Oral Conscious Sedation for a comfortable and relaxing dental experience. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Basha is also active in the community with many affiliations including volunteering his services at the East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) to provide dental care for some of our less fortunate neighbors.
Jeffrey T. Jackson, DDS
Pediatric Dentist
"Dr. Jeff" is a Board Eligible Pediatric Dentist. A native of North Carolina, Dr. Jeff was raised in Wilmington as the oldest of 5 children.
He completed his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 2004 before attending the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. During his time at UNC, Dr. Jeff received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Pre-Doctoral Student Award for his interest and achievements in the treatment of children.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Jeff pursued his post-graduate education in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Florida Shands Children's Hospital. During his specialty training, his education focused on dental growth and development, caring for the anxious child, as well as caring for patients with special health care needs. During the final year of his residency, Dr. Jeff served as Chief Resident for the University of Flordia Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Jeff's professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the South Carolina Society for Pediatric Dentists.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, cooking, golfing and exploring the outdoors in Charleston.
