Most patients are able to return to their normal schedule following root canal. The patient will be asked to avoid chewing on the tooth for a few days following the procedure. In most cases, a normal diet is recommended. Usually anti-inflamatory medication is all you will need for a few days. Some patients do no need any pain medication.
Complete written instructions will be given to the patient when they leave our office.
