Meet Dr. Sal R. Varano

Dr. Sal Varano graduated with Honors from New York University College of Dentistry . After his induction into the Honorary Dental Society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, he completed his dental residency at the renowned VA Medical Center in Manhattan, and was most recently inducted as a Fellow into the International Academy of DentoFacial Aesthics. Dr. Varano has been providing state-of-the-art superior dental care for over 25 years , and has surrounded himself with team members who are as passionate as he is to provide compassionate, precision care . Dr. Varano currently volunteers his time as an Attending Dentist at NYU/ Winthrop University Medical Center instructing and training the dental residents. He is a past President of the Eastern Dental Society of New York, former instructor at NYU Dental School, and Presiding Officer at the Greater NY Dental Meetings. Dr. Varano is at the forefront of dental education by attending close to 50 hours of continuing educational classes a year, ensuring that his patients receive the most up-to-date comprehensive and advanced dental care available. His certification in the Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation makes him one of the few dentists in the New York metro area to offer this revolutionary treatment to our patients. His certification in Oral Conscious Sedation by NY State allows him the ability to now comfortably treat most patients with anxiety and dental phobias. He is also a Preferred Provider of Invisalign orthodontic treatment.

Dr Varano has also recently been featured in a front page article in the Garden City Life newspaper for his volunteerism providing free dental treatment to members of the Lakota Indian tribe at the St Francis Mission in Rosebud, South Dakota.

He is a Fellow of the International Academy of DentoFacial Aesthetics, a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, NYS Dental Society,the American Dental Implant Association, Nassau County Dental Society,Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation,Garden City Dental Institute,Franklin Square Study Group,and Sunrise Dental Study Organization.
