TEETH WHITENING
For your convenience there are several procedures available in our office to whiten and brighten your smile.
Take home Whitening Procedure
Over time our teeth tend to become discolored or stained. Whether this is from smoking, coffee, or any other foods, a beautiful smile could be closer than you think. We offer a safe, inexpensive solution to an unsightly smile. Whitening your teeth is a very simple procedure that can be completed in relatively short period of time.
Procedure
The first step in the whitening process is impressions. We will take full impressions of your upper and lower teeth. These impressions will be made into custom bleaching trays. The trays will fit onto your teeth perfectly so there is a small possibility of gum damage from the bleaching solution.
The second step is to place the bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for an hour a day. Within 10-14 days, you will see a significant improvement in the color of your teeth. Your smile will look brighter and younger. We will take before and after photos so that you will be able to compare the amazing transformation.
Bleaching only works on natural teeth and may not be effective in all cases. We will inform you as to the potential whitening for your specific situation.
In Office Whitening Procedure
This procedure is available to do alone or as an adjunct to the take home trays. You will make an appointment to come into the office for a consultation, we will explain the in office procedure, and if you choose to do this step we will take impressions for your take home trays. You will come back in for the in office procedure, you can relax, watch tv, and in approximately one hour you will leave with a smile several shades whiter! We will also give you your take home trays to continue to boost your whitening at home. These trays are also convenient for future touch-ups.
Our office recommends the dual (office/take home) whitening so that you can maintain a younger, more beautiful smile.
For our patients who have already whitened their teeth and need to touch-up we recommend doing so right after a professional cleaning, please let us know if you would like to purchase a refill kit and renew your smile!
