Judith Helen Anderson "Judy"---Registered Dental Hygienist
Judy began her dental career at the young age of 16 as a receptionist/assistant in a dental clinic. She is a native New Yorker having earned as Associates degree in Business Management and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from St. John's University in Queen, New York. Her passion for dentistry lead her to earn her associates degree in Dental Hygiene from the State University of New York at Farmingdale in 1996.
Judy started working for Dr. Drew shortly after the moving to North Carolina 18 years ago. A dental hygienist for 19 years, Judy loves interacting with her patients and educating them in the latest advances in dentistry. You will sometimes hear her contagious laughter in the waiting area because she has such rapport with her patients. Judy lives in Raleigh with her husband of 24 years, Edward. Judy has one son Ryan, who is currently majoring in vocal music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her spare time Judy enjoys walking her beautiful black Labrador retriever Nora along with taking yoga, body pump and cycle classes.
Rhonda Schmeer--- Registered Dental Hygienist
"the first room on the left" Rhonda may be small, but her passion for dentistry knows no limits! her quality of care for even the scaredest of patients is insurmountable.
Rhonda has been in the dental field for 21 years and holds an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Monroe Community College in Henrietta New York. Rhonda has been with Dr. Drew for almost 11 years. Rhonda resides in North Raleigh with her husband Dave of 30 years. They have six beautiful children and six grandchildren. On any given weekend Rhonda can be found spending time with her family camping, going to the beach, NASCAR races or attending local kid sporting events.
Kimla Henry "Kim"---Financial Coordinator
Kim is that rarity- A born and bred Raleigh Native! She has worked in the dental field since 1993 and with Dr. Drew for over 4 years now. Kim resides in Garner with her husband Bruce of 26 years. She has two awesome daughters Devon 24 and Sarah 19. Kim's youngest daughter Sarah is currently majoring in marketing at Pembroke University.In her free time Kim enjoys kayaking, going to the beach, and hiking in the mountains.
Kim's enthusiasm for helping patients achieve their needs will keep you wanting more. The relationships she has developed over the last 23 years are unforgettable.
Caroline Lockhart---Hygiene Coordinator
Caroline is originally from Delaware, Ohio. She started her working days in the nursing field but then transferred to the dental field in 1988. She moved to North Carolina in 1992. She is cross trained as an assistant and has been a valuable asset to Dr. Drew's dental team for 13 years. It is her bright smiling face you will see when you walk into Dr. Drew's office.
Caroline lives in North Raleigh with her significant other Jeff. She has two awesome sons who are the loves of her life. In her spare time Caroline can be found working in one of her many gardens or flowerbeds.
Carrie L. Vargas--- Certified Dental Assistant
Carrie was born and raised right here in the heart of Raleigh. She attended Louisburg College for her Associate's degree and received her dental assisting training at Western Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah Kentucky. Carrie started in the dental field when she was 15 years old working summers for her father. She has been a Certified Dental Assistant for 13 years and has been with Dr. Drew for almost 7 of those years. Carrie lives in Raleigh with her husband Justin and their son Gabriel.
When Carrie isn't working on teeth she can be found working on numerous home DIY projects, in her garden or out on the lake paddle boarding and kayaking with her family. She can also be found in foreign countries around the world during the summer providing dental care when needed.
Carrie's drive in dentistry comes from her desire to help people reach their goals comfortably for a healthy, beautiful smile. Don't hesitate to ask her any questions as she's happy to help make your experience the best possible at Dr. Drew's office.
